This book is interesting and makes you think about time and reality and memory. It took me a bit to get into it but overall it was an interesting read.

It’s been awhile since I got to read a great sci-fi novel. And wow, this book did not disappoint! It’s funny, interesting and filled with all the science and math it takes to make it a great space book. This book is about Ryland Grace, a man stranded in space with no idea how he got there. All he knows is that his crew is dead, he’s light years away from Earth and he is there to find out why something is eating the sun’s energy. With death around every corner, Grace isn’t certain he has what it takes to complete the mission alone… But he might not be alone out there after all… This book was AWESOME! I could not get enough of it! I loved the adventure, the science was too cool and it was a great science fiction for boys 16 and up. Seriously, the author wrote such a great world outside of Earth that I just could not put the book down! Now, there are adult topics in the book. Mention of suicide. (The crew were not going to be able to make it back to Earth so they each planned their death) Mention of violence. (Blood, wounds and such) Mention of sex. (Nothing is described, but it is mentioned and brought up 2 or 3 times. Just conversation) There is also cursing in the book. Overall, I loved this novel sooooo much! I will be re-reading it and I can’t wait to read The Martian by Andy Weir next!!! Happy Reading!

A sweet contemporary romance, I loved how Darcy and Elle were opposites of one another but still complimented each other so well. I would have just loved a little more plot outside of their love story.

The Bluest Eye

This is a tough one to review. The writing style is unique and moving, but the subject matter is very difficult and includes inc*st, child SA and animal cruelty. It's an important book, but not a happy one.

The Final Gambit

Amazing finale for The Inheritance Series. Much suspense and build up led to a great ending. Plot was slightly difficult to follow as a large family tree takes place, although not many difficulties. If you’re looking for a good mystery/adventure book with a romance side plot, this is a great way to go.
